Grow Your Horizon - Northern Ireland International Tourism Marketing

Grow Your Horizons is a new International Tourism Market programme for tourism businesses in Northern Ireland.

If you are already or are prepared to take a proactive approach to developing or growing your  international, Republic and UK tourism markets, then this programme is for you. The programme offers an unprecedented opportunity for you to increase your business by working with tour operators to access out-of-state and overseas markets.

The local authorities – Ards Borough Council, Banbridge, Down and Newry & Mourne District Councils have secured funding for the Grow Your Horizons: Developing Your International Tourism Markets and 60 FREE PLACESare available on the programme.
There will be a series of 4 half day workshops in late 2013 early 2104 designed specifically for tourism businesses looking to take a proactive approach to developing or growing their international tourism markets. Specifically, the workshops cover the key areas for developing international tourism markets, including market analysis, routes to markets, working
effectively with the travel trade, international marketing and social media.

The workshops will be complemented by two free learning journeys (2 days each) to other destinations to see how they’ve done it and to explore best practice in these destinations. A familiarisation visit for international tour operators is also
planned in spring 2014.
